John Flavin recently penned an op/ed in Crain’s Chicago Business where he spoke about the need for NIH to move faster, but stay nonpartisan. Despite NIH funding threats and hints at making the institute partisan, Flavin argues that the NIH doesn’t need a complete overhaul – it needs to be more nimble and continue with nonpartisanship.
