The Portal Innovations Incubator at HELIX NJ is a partnership between Portal, the New Brunswick Development Corporation (DEVCO), Rutgers University, Princeton University, and New Jersey Economic Development Authority, located in New Brunswick, New Jersey, to help grow innovative startups. This location will be approximately 30,000-square feet in space, will feature a mix of private and open lab spaces along with co-working areas that will be equipped with cutting-edge technology to support up to 30 startup companies in New Jersey. The broader HELIX NJ space is a mammoth 1.6M SF development, dedicated to growing innovation in the area.

The incubator space at Ocean State Labs will serve a critical need in New Jersey and beyond, providing more than 30,000 square feet of physical space for entrepreneurial businesses to be brought to scale to improve health outcomes. Portal has strategically chosen New Jersey because of its proximity to nearby research universities (Rutgers University, Princeton University, and NJIT) focused on innovation. The greater New Jersey area is located within a larger cooridor of innovation featuring large metropolitan areas, home to amazing researchers.
